This is a must do session if you're thinking of filming your trip!
  2. Simon and Lisa Thomas

Lisa and Simon first went out to ride around the world in May of 2003 and have since ridden an insane 500,00 miles! They have helped to define adventure motorcycling as we know it! They are professional adventurers who will be sharing their skills with us. They'll be doing a masterclass in photography, a workshop in cooking on the road and a presentation about their 17 years in the saddle.
  3. Vanessa Ruck

After being hit by a car while cycling in 2014, Vanessa's world was turned upside down. Motorcycles weren't a part of her life before the accident, but have been instrumental in her recovery. She's an enduro and Harley rider and is determined to make the most of every day. She is a huge social media influencer within the adventure motorcycling world and will be delivering a mini masterclass in sharing your adventures with the world through social media.
  4. Sarah Outen

In search of adventure and charting her way through grief at the sudden death of her father, at 24 Sarah Outen became the first woman and youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean. This then led to her London2London:Via the World journey - a 4.5 year 25000 mile loop of the planet using human power. Rowing, cycling and kayaking around the northern hemisphere, the journey was all the richer for not turning out exactly as planned. These days Sarah is training to become a psychotherapist and adventuring more locally to home with her wife and three donkeys. Sarah will be doing a live Q&A after a screening of her incredible film 'Home' and a live workshop on Ocean Rowing.
  5. Karl Bushby

Karl is attempting to complete the longest walk in history. He left the UK in 1998 and has been walking home ever since. So far, Karl has walked from from the very southern most point of South America, all the way to Turkmenistan. He has walked every single step of the way, including through the 'impenetrable' Darian Gap (at a time when it was controlled by the FARC) and across the pack ice from Alaska to Russia! So he has very literally walked the entire way!! Karl will be drawing on his experience from crossing the pack-ice, hacking his way through the impenetrable Darien Gap, to teach us about planning for these places and the general preparation for extreme enviroments.
  6. Jamie Ramsay

Over the last 5 years, Jamie has taken on 30,000 km's of human powered adventures through 28 countries. Jamie is best known for his outrageous, 17,000 km run from Canada to Argentina but his CV of adventure is bursting with crazy challenges most of us couldn't dream up! Jamie will be running a workshop on what and how to pack for long distance cycling adventures.
  7. Julia Sanders

Global Motorcycle Guinness World Record Holders, Julia and Kevin Sanders founded of UK based motorcycle expedition company, GlobeBusters back in 2004.  It’s fair to say that after fifteen years of preparing and riding with hundreds of motorcyclists on overland adventures in Africa, Asia and the Americas, they’ve got trip planning off to a fine art.  And it’s normally Julia sat in the back office organising freight, hotels, documents – you know, the exciting stuff. Julia will chat about the key aspects of planning a route, what practical things to take into account and contingency planning, using the GlobeBusters London to Beijing trip as a practical example.
  8. Adam and Tania – Jits Into The Sunet

Jits is the star of the show for Tania and Adam - it's their trusty but elderly campervan, and both their home and transport as they travel around Europe, filming, photographing and documenting their adventures. Adam’s mum inspired their sabbatical and they’re honouring her example of seizing the moment and following your dream. The couple kicked off on the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’, driving the Western coast of Ireland, before travelling around Scotland, Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland & Italy. Capturing some stunning scenery on the way and creating some unbelievable videos (check out their YouTube channel). They have lived and breathed Van Life so we could think of nobody better suited to deliver a workshop on exactly what Van Life entails and what you need to consider if you fancy swapping putting your house on wheels!
  9. Spencer Conway & Cathy Nel

This adventurous pair have racked up more than 100,000km's on their motorbike and aim to circumnavigate every continent on earth. They push the limits of adventure motorcycling and if it wasn't for Covid-19, they would currently be attempting to pass the through the Darien Gap! They'll be presenting from Mexico telling stories from the road and giving more details on their attempts to circumnavigate each continent!!
  10. Kinga Tanajewska

Kinga's been 'On Her Bike' since 2017 when she quit her job in Australia and set off to ride around the world on a motorbike.  Her current trip is called the 'Are we there yet?' tour because she doesn't know where it will end! She joined us to chat about her adventurers at one of our film nights back in 2020 when she was stuck in Poland, but has since managed to get back on the road and is now making her way through Africa! Having been on the road since 2017 the obvious, million dollar question is how does she afford it? Well, we're going to find out as she'll be delivering a workshop on 'making money on your adventures'!  It's one you definitely don't want to miss and for anyone who has ambitions to travel and make money to keep you going this will be the ideal workshop for you!
  11. Candida Louis

In her own words Candida is "an Indian Girl Riding the world". She most certainly is! Candida has ridden in every state in India and has ridden all the way from her home town in India to Sydney Australia. She's already an adventure motorcycling legend and was a huge hit at the first Armchair Adventure Festival. Candida will be delivering a workshop on 'Adventuring In India'. India is high up on many peoples list for where to adventure to when international travel resumes and we think nobody is better placed to give us tips on the best locations, roads and hidden gems than Candida.
  12. Tiffany Coates

Tiffany is probably the world’s foremost female motorcycle traveller having ridden over 300,000 miles, crossing every continent, some of them several times. She’s travelled just about everywhere and classes her more remote exploits as her favourite journeys- Timbuctoo, Outer Mongolia, Tibet, Madagascar and Borneo . Tiffany not only has an international reputation as a traveller, but she is also a highly qualified and experienced self-defence tutor. She’s taught classes all over the world with a focus on inspiring and enabling others to travel. With all this in mind we're delighted to be welcoming Tiffany to join us at bootcamp. 14. Nathan Millward

Reluctant adventurer,  Nathan Millward started with small bikes, riding a Honda CT110 postie bike home from Australia to England, and then across America and up to Alaska. He worked for Adventure Bike Rider magazine for a bit before doing other things, including running the Garbage Run Tours. He now runs Dorothy's Speed Shop. Named after his first post bike, Doroth's is a hang out and place for bikers to go off on off-road trails in some of the most scenic parts of southern UK. This class has the potential to save you lots of money on buying unnecessary stuff!
  17. Michelle Lamphere

Michelle will be joining the 'Wandering Women' panel.
  18. Steph Jeavons
